Pure Magic!
You know that one thing that every girl dreams of from the time they are 4? Their wedding? Well my dream is coming true! The man of my dreams proposed to me on Tuesday March 22. Here's how it went:)
I was having a long day in my 6th grade classroom (where I'm doing practicum). I was sorting through a bunch of papers that needed to go back to the students. About 15 minutes before the bell was supposed to ring, My buddy R (for the sake of his privacy), who is a rambunctious young boy to begin with, came and stood in front of me with a basket full of apples. I had no idea what he was doing and thought to myself, "what's R doing now?" Well this sweet young boy dug through his deep pockets and pulled out a crumpled piece of scratch paper. He read me this:
"A special person gave me this special present to give to you. Without you He is nothing, but with you he is something! You're as sweet as an apple."
So I took the basket of apples with a small tear in my eye to my desk to sit down and look at what I had been given. Attached to each apple there was a sweet love note addressed to Ms. Bennington. While I was sitting down, the class started wondering what had just happened. They all wanted to know what R. had just said to me. In all the excitement he blurted out, "Her boyfriend is coming here to propose!!!" The class laughed and oohed and aahed. We finally all got settled down again and about 5 minutes before the bell was going to ring, Cute Curtis poked his head in the classroom. He was all dressed up and carried with him one last love note and a dozen red roses (my fav!). This last love note was now addressed to Mrs. Cazier! (That will be me one day!!) He gave me the note, got down on one knee, said some cute things, then asked me to marry him while holding out a box with the perfect ring!! I was speechless, but nodded and then finally said yes! The class all cheered and clapped. It was so magical.
We left class and went to eat at Hamilton's....so yummy! Then we went to Curtis's grandparents to share the news, then to His house, then we came to my house! It really was the most perfect day! I love him more than life itself. He is my best friend and my other half! I cannot wait to share my life with him! The big day is June 24th in the Logan temple. How perfect!! So stay tuned for wedding updates:)but for now, enjoy these:
Curtis's good friend was kind enough to help Curtis out and come and get this all on video! Here it is!! :)
I really feel like I'm the luckiest girl in the world! And I never knew I could be so happy! Curtis is definitely perfect for me and I love him more than words can say. The end.

5 Rules for Safe Blogging
Number One Rule!!!
Sites:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/family-safety/blogging.aspx
http://kimseducationalblogging.blogspot.com/2009/09/safe-blogging-tips.html
- Don't give personal information! If you use names, use only first names or even aliases, never first and last. Don't post addresses, phone numbers, names of friends or relatives, birthdate, or screen names. Don't EVER meet someone you meet online. And don't reply to crude, mean, or inappropriate things that may pop up on your blog. And if inappropriate things come up, make sure that can't happen again.
- Be careful of the pictures you post of yourself and of others. Be careful that pictures don't reveal too much physically or any of the things from rule number one. Pictures speak a thousand words so be careful. Make sure that pictures posted are appropriate and are in accordance with school rules.
- Things that go on to the internet are most likely permanent. Even if you delete a blog or a post, it may still be accessible. Blogs and pictures posted can easily be printed and reposted.
- Use blogging sites that have clear user standards for use. These sites will be protected by a username and password. Even if a blog is private, it could potentially be hacked into. So be careful about information you give out concerning your username and password and what goes on to the blog.
- Don't use blogs to be negative or to hurt someone else. Keep them positive and upbeat. Use blocks to make sure only allowed users and comment. You can't control what other people will put on your blog for comments, but you can control who can comment.

Blogging for Teachers
I love the idea of blogging when for teachers! I think it's such a fun, creative, and easy way to post about things your class is doing. I also think a blog could be really great for the parents. As a teacher you could put links to things like project instructions, homework assignments, etc. Then the parents can get onto the blog and see examples of what their student's homework and projects should look like. It could also be a tool for the teacher to put up links for homework help, especially for math. Then the parents can use this as a tool to help their students with homework. Plus, what better way for parents to actually see what their student's are doing in school all day! The blog can be a private blog, so the teacher can make sure that only approved people are looking at the blog, that would eliminate a lot of privacy issues. You can post pictures, videos, and like a journal entry type thing to explain! I love the idea of it!
I love THIS blog! I love how it talks about what is happening in his class, it has lots of cool things to look at on the side, and it has links to other teacher's in the school blogs. This blog looks cool, and he has a lot of widgets on the side and whatnot. And THIS BLOG is great too. It's simple and clean. The very first post I read was a reminder for the students about a project coming up! It's so great! This specific post has links to maps and geography sites. And like I mentioned before, this teacher has links to math sites for help with math! The next site isn't technically a blog, but I like it. It's all about classroom management. It has fresh ideas about classroom management. The site, classroommanagement101, is chuck full of links and videos all about classroom management. That's the thing that scares me the most at this point: how to manage so many kids!

Beware All
For a class I'm taking I have to write about blogs. I'm going to use my personal blog so I don't have to create a whole new one. I don't have time for that. So readers...bear with me while I blab on about blog pedagogy and yadda yadda yadda. :)

Just Thinking
Once upon a time I told someone that my life motto is "Come what may and love it." I have not been living this. I have been letting things come and have not been loving it. I need to love it. I have lots to love. And I think it would help me do better in life, it'd give me a better attitude. I need that too. So I'm going to do better. I have to. For myself.

Holiday and Birthday :)
I'm a bit behind on my blogging! I have much to say about the great time I've been having lately! Christmas was so so great! I loved being away from school and work. And I LOVED spending time with my family and Curtis and his family. I definitely was spoiled this year. My parents got me a laptop! WOW!! I love it! I got it on Black Friday....I got it for school. But it was mostly all for Christmas. I got some clothes and other fun stuff from Santa and from my family. Curtis really spoiled me. He surprised me one day with a dozen red roses! My favorite! :) He got me the best smelling perfume ever, Halle Berry. It is yummy! He got me a very cute shirt that I love. And he got me THESE BEAUTIES!
I have wanted these for a while! And who knew all this time Curtis was listening to me ramble about them when we would make a trip to the mall:) I sure love that guy!
That's not all! His parents gave us a gift card to Elements, the new restaurant in town. We went on my birthday...and boy was I spoiled on my birthday too! Mom and Dad gave me THIS! I love love love it! We've had so much fun playing it! Even the boys in the family played it. And Curtis is dang good at it! He beats me a lot! Kaylee and Bryce gave me a dang cute Utah State Shirt...I got tons of compliments on them. Thanks! And Curtis spoiled me even more! Aside from dinner at Elements, which was so fancy and fun, Curtis gave me a date night to do FLOWRIDER!!! Every time we walk by that place I want to do it. And again Curtis was listening! :) He also delivered the most beautiful flowers ever to me while I was at work! I sure love him!
It really was the best holiday/birthday ever. I loved it! Then school ruined things...funny how that happens! :)

I love LOVE. I like seeing people who are in love, I like to feel love, I like to show love. Today I was thinking a lot about what love is to me. How do I like people to show love to me? What means the most to me? The 5 Love Languages is a book all about these questions. I have yet to read the book, but I know a lot about the love languages, it really interests me. So today I took THIS QUIZ. These are my results:
So there you have it. This is how I love and want to be loved.
Love is on my mind a lot these days. How do I even know when I'm in love? How can I make a decision about who to marry and who to love for eternity? Then this cute girl showed me this great talk. This talk taught me a lot and I really appreciated it. So until the time comes for that big magical day that is hopefully in my future sometime, I will do my best and enjoy the journey. Then one day someone will give me my fairytale. Something similar to the magicalness of this, something a friend of mine did. He's in love:) How is this a bad plan? I love love:)
| Percent | Language | Score |
| 23% | Words of Affirmation | 7 |
| 33% | Quality Time | 10 |
| 7% | Receiving Gifts | 2 |
| 23% | Acts of Service | 7 |
| 13% | Physical Touch | 4 |
So there you have it. This is how I love and want to be loved.

Times are Tough
The past summer has been a tough one for me. I learned a lot about life and about myself. School came and I feel like things only got harder. I've learned that I don't know a lot about the human mind. Why do some people do what they do? Why do they make choices that hurt themselves and the people who love them? I've also learned that I don't know why I make plans...They always change anyways! I had a lot of things that I really looked forward to, now some of those things are changing a bit. I learned that the world is cruel. The world is evil and has evil people. I hate that evil things are so easily accessible and that evil is all around trying to lead people away. I learned that I trust people easily, I love people easily, and I don't like causing hurt in anyone's life. I learned that I can lose dear friends quickly. I learned that people are not always as forgiving or understanding as I would like. I'm still learning how to deal with heartaches that are inevitable, trials that are there to help us grow, and decisions that are scary and outcomes that are unknown.
I'm also learning that I have more faith than I thought I did. I'm learning about My Savior's Atoning sacrifice for me and He invites me to come unto Him. He can heal us. I'm learning that some people will be there for me, through thick and thin, no matter what. I'm learning that a little hope and one little light in the dark can go a really long way. I'm learning that I need to trust, and when I can trust, I will get the happily ever after I so deeply desire. Knowing this doesn't make the trials any easier, but it makes the endurable. It makes the tears shed, the heartaches, the lonely times, the dark times, and the fear worth it. There is hope. There is light at the end of the tunnel. So come what may and LOVE IT!
Be patient in afflictions, for thou shalt have many; but endure them, for, lo, I am with thee, even unto the end of thy days. D&C 24:8
Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God... I am the light which shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehendeth it not. D&C 6:21

Today's Pick Me Up
For the last little while I've had a lot on my mind. There's been a lot of changes and a lot of stress. I hate school; I hate my classes and I don't like Utah State. I feel super stressed and really sleep deprived all the time. I'm poor. I don't have much of a social life. I don't like working in the admissions office. I don't like not being able to see Curtis. I don't like my flaws and my faults. But today in institute, my scriptures fell open to a verse I needed to see. It was a simple verse about the atonement. How my Savior bears my iniquities and knows my sorrows and heartaches. My Savior knows how I feel. And that is what I needed today. There is help and there is light at the end of the tunnel! Boy am I grateful for This Gospel! So I decided to be done with this stupid negative attitude I've been lingering on. I WILL make the best of this semester and I WILL be happy. Today is a good day. I GET to go to school and I GET to go to work. And at the end of a long day, I get to go be with Curtis. How can this be a bad plan? :)

The good old summer time...and the beginning of shool.
I'm a bad blogger. I haven't posted since May!!! That is way too long! The summer was FAR too short! And so so much has happened! This summer was very magical! I learned a lot about myself and a lot about close friends and loved ones. I grew apart from some friends, and so close with others. I have really great friends who I am so thankful for. This summer I gained one very special friend. This friend helped me more than he knows. This friend is also my new boyfriend! And he is so cute and wonderful! We did plenty of wonderful things together. We went dancing, we went to the pool, we went on hikes, we went on a horseback ride, and we even went to Bear Lake. We spent a lot of nights together, enjoying the weather and each others company. We laughed together. I cried and he let me;) It feels nice to have a best friend:)
Unfortunately, my magical summer had to end. Now I'm back in school. And I don't love it. I miss Snow College. I miss the small town and the turkey smell. I miss the small campus and friendly faces. I miss my wonderful roommates. I miss my job and the Noyes building!
I live at home now, and it is tough. I love being at home I really do! But I miss being on my own! And I have a very tough schedule. I feel like all I do is homework! But it's just busy work! Nothing that will help me! I suppose I'll get used to it though. I always do:)
Work is good though, still the admissions office. And I'm also babysitting on the side. A wonderful, cute baby boy! He's great...usually;)
That's all for today! But I'll try to post more often!

New Job
I have a new job. I'm so thankful to have a job! This summer I'm workin in the admissions office at Utah State. Right now I'm doing data entry....and I only have one word to say about that: BORING!!! But on the plus side, I basically get to choose my own hours. I never have to work past 5 PM and I never have to work on Saturdays or Sundays! And, it's VERY easy. I sit at a computer all day. The first day went a little something like this:
Whitney wanders by herself into the so called "Cave". Everyone in the Cave is talking and laughing. When Whitney walks in, everyone stops and looks at her and she says, "Hi Bonnie, I'm here for training." Then, there was silence. So Bonnie sat Whitney down and started explaining.
"When you first come in, log onto banner with your A number and password. Log onto banner, oh wait, you don't have a thing yet, Joy will get you one. There are such and such amount of programs on banner you'll work with: listing of all the programs here. Today you'll learn SRAQUIK. First, type the person's last name, first name. Hit tab. If nothing comes up, hit Ctrl Q then F9. Tab over and start typing their name followed by a %. Hit F8. Then Ctrl Q again, then Cntrl Pgdn, tab like a thousand times, ctrl q this tab that. shift F7...and Whitney got lost in the key commands!
Wow! I even took notes...but boy was it intimidating! But I'm glad to say that now I'm a whiz at the so called SRAQUIK program. I still have so so much to learn! But now I at least know there is hope! So is my job very boring and monotonous? Yes! But I actually kind of like it. i find myself getting into this sort of groove, and before I know it the time is passing! My shoulders ache ever day from sitting at a computer for so long...but it's not too bad! It'll be a nice summer job. I'll save me some good money...and work good hours. Perfect for still wanting to have summer fun, which I am greatly looking forward to! My new job=a good summer job:)

School's Out For Summer!!
Wow! I made it! I graduated from Snow College!

It feels so good to be done! And my graduation day was amazing! I got to be with some of my best friends and we had so much fun! Our cute, amazing boss got us all beautiful flowers and we were lucky enough to line up at the very front of the processional. We walked into the gym and I spotted my great parents smiling at me from the stands! Elder Jeffery R Holland was our commencement speaker and he did an amazing job! And I am proud to say that my coworkers and I were the very first of all the grads to walk across the stage and have our names read! After that was all done, the great PLTs had a little luncheon and then we all got to meet Elder Holland. He was seriously one of the nicest men I have EVER met! And his wife was SO CUTE!! I got my picture taken with him (unfortunately I don't have my camera so I can't post that Picture!) and my family got to meet him.
Then is was time to say goodbye. I didn't really have a hard time saying goodbye to my best friends...I KNOW I'll see them again. And a lot of them will be coming up to Utah State next year:)party right? I was packed up and ready to go in no time! The hardest part for me was saying goodbye to my great job at the Noyes Building! I nearly cried when I had to turn my keys in! But it was okay. I teared up a little as we pulled out of town. But I was ready. I was ready to say goodbye to that place for a while!
Now I'm all moved in at home. I have my own room now...something I've never had before. I have a desk, all to myself. I have a dresser, all to myself! And boy is it nice to be home! I get real bored, real fast, but it's all worth it! This summer is going to be good...I can feel it!
I can't wait to lay out in the sun. I can't wait to go to the pool for a day! I've already jumped back into the lovely game of babysitting. I plan on going boating and camping. But mostly I plan on just chilling. Taking it easy, having no cares in the world! It's gonna be great!

Quilts!
I am obsessed with quilts! I love them! I love looking at them, making them, dreaming about making them, and contemplating about what quilt I'm going to make next. I took a quilting class this semester and it's ruined me....I'm always going to want to be making a quilt! I've learned so much and I really enjoy everything about quilting! Is this a good thing? I guess so...but it's just so darn expensive! That's the only draw back...money...I don't have any. But that's okay...I'll find a way to feed my new obsession:)
My next quilt? A baby blanket. I haven't quite picked out a pattern yet...but when I do it'll be great. I've already got a color scheme going in my head! A baby blanket for whom, you ask? My future child. No, I'm not married, and no, I'm not even engaged. But one day I will be. And one day I'll be a mommy. So why not start now?

My new thing...
So recently I've discovered that the Ephraim Library rents out movies...and believe it or not...they have GREAT movies! I've already rented 5 in about 1 1/2 weeks. I watched everyone of them and yes...I plan on getting more. I plan on getting the full use out of my $10 one year library card. Britt and I have watched some good ones...like Charly and Saints ans Soldiers, which Britt cried through, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (at the end of that one we just sat there not knowing what yo say or how to feel). But we've also watched ones such as Brother Bear and He's Just Not That Into You. We have a TV in our room and Britt and I love to curl up in bed (any time of the day:)) and watch a good movie. WE LOVE MOVIES!!! Movies are a great way to have fun and forget about things. And we love movie quoting!!! Oh yeah...and we're legit! We movie quote like it's nobody's business! Ahhh...such good times!
We've also found joy in collecting refillable Maverick cups. We have "Happy Hour" runs weekly, or biweekly, sometimes more...but that's beside the point! Right now we have a grand total of 6...just from one week! We made a deal and we're not throwing any away. We're going to see how many we can get before the year ends. haha:)we're lame...I know. But it's all part of the college experience! GOOD GOOD TIMES!!!!!

Today is a beautiful day!!
Today is a beautiful day! The sun is shining, it got above 40 degrees, there's only 2 weeks til the much anticipated and much needed SPRING BREAK!!! and today is email day:)I love email day because I love Kevin! And I'm in a great mood:)Yesterday a friend of Kevin and I had a farewell and I was able to go to it. I was so touched by his sincere testimony. And I have a love for missionaries; they do hard work, great work, and bless the lives of many. I look up to them a lot, namely one in particular;)but it was a great talk. He will do great! I was also fortunate enough to see the Wilder family! I <3 them! They have become great friends over the past year and they always make me feel welcome and loved....who doesn't like that?! They invited me to their house for dinner and was stoked to go! It was so great!
When I got back to Ephraim it was like a party! Me and the roomies had a fun fun night! I got to bed way late...so needless to say I am dead tired, but it was worth it! And this morning I woke up to lovely, wonderful, amazing messages from Kevin. I love him and he makes me so happy:)And to top it all off...it was warm outside! The best part is....the week is only going to get better! Tonight I get to go to yoga. Tomorrow morning I get to sleep in and I only have 2 classes. Wednesday I don't have work and I only have 3 classes, one of which is stage makeup and I get to make myself look like a witch...with a prosthetic nose and all! Thursday will kinda suck...but my Thursdays always suck. Fridays are just good always and I'm not helping with a snow blast this weekend!! And on Saturday my family is coming down to me! It's family day at my ward and they are coming! I'm stoked! It is a great day!
